The world's lightest monolithic aluminum pump-action shotgun. At just over 6 pounds this is a shotgun you can carry over long distances with ease. Made from a single piece of extruded aluminum, the upper receiver acts as the chassis for the Sentry system. Rather than a serialized lower, the serialized upper serves as a platform for any configuration a shooter can come up with. Perfect for hunting, skeet shooting, or home defense, this all-purpose shotgun was designed to be modular, versatile, and lightweight. The buttstock is held on by an HK pin, with QD flush cups on both sides. With Iron Horse's Single Pin Takedown Technology, and an exposed barrel nut you can remove in seconds, you can easily swap from fixed-length padded buttstock, and 26" barrel for hunting, to a brace, and 10" barrel for home defense. Comes with 2 proprietary 5-shell magazines.

ABOUT THE SENTRY 12™

Adding to the modularity, the Sentry 12 features a full Pic rail and is magazine fed, allowing for quick swap of lighting and optic options, as well as quick load and change load speeds. With the Sentry 12's ambidextrous AR-style controls, we designed the Sentry 12 to have a familiar manual of arms, so you can utilize familiar functionality to AR when changing shell and load type for different situations. The Sentry 12 is made 100% in the United States. Designed by engineers with years in the firearm industry, and torture tested and perfected by our 90% Veteran staff, the Sentry 12 is a versatile tool you can always rely on.

    Great shotgun

Well made. It would be great if it were threaded for a choke, but that's easy enough to have added. I'd like to see some additional components available. Hopefully it will be successful enough they will have reason to design a drum magazine.

    Great gun, but needs more.

I wanted to make sure I had enough rounds down range before I wrote this review. Roughly 600 rounds down range later, I feel I can do so. I want to highlight the positives before I hit some minor gripes with this particular shotgun. First and foremost, this thing is insanely light. It balances well with the mag fed design, and lends itself to be very maneuverable. Second the action is really smooth, you can definitely feel the quality when cycling the shotgun. Third, its super simple and quick to break down and clean. The reason my review isn't a full 5 stars is due to the following: "Optics ready", meaning you provide your own irons. My personal gripe with this, is that it adds to the cost of getting the shotgun to the point you can use it. Second, it doesn't come threaded for a choke. This again adds cost if you wish to have a gunsmith perform this for you. Some may find this a benefit as they may have an excess of one brand of chokes. Others may choose to leave this smoothbore, and have no issue with this. Lastly, the pump grip itself is fairly slick, making it less than ideal to cycle the action of the shotgun. I found wrapping my index finger around the front of the pump alleviated this. A second option is getting the grip stippled or putting traction tape on it. Overall This is probably one of my favorite shotguns to shoot. I'd highly recommend this gun to anyone wanting to get into a mag fed shotgun, or someone wanting something unique.

I've had mine for about a year now, and love it. Light weight, accurate, and pure fun! I have not had any reliability issues. 8 shell Mags are the way too go also!

Don't forget to accessorize your Sentry!
